Welcome to the Willits Boules Club (WBC).
The WBC has been established for the enjoyment of the game and the opportunity for camaraderie amongst the participants. As a member of the WBC, you also gain membership to the Federation of Petanque U.S.A., Incorporated (FPUSA). FPUSA is the United States member of International Federation of Pétanque and Jeu Provencal (FIPJP). The FPUSA acts as a liaison between all pétanque players and all pétanque clubs in the United States and throughout the world.
The following WBC memberships are available: Adult (18 years old over), Junior (under 18 years of age), Associate (FPUSA member whose Home/Main membership is with another FPUSA club), and Honorary. In applying for membership, you pledge to be bound by and honor the rules and regulations governing the WBC and FPUSA.
A portion of the dues you pay go to the FPUSA. The club pays $15 for each adult member, and $5 for each junior member. YOUR MEMBERSHIP DUES ARE DUE NO LATER THAN JANUARY 31ST. Dues received after January 31st for renewing memberships are subject to a $5.00 penalty fee imposed by the FPUSA.
Your FPUSA fees help pay for a general insurance policy under which the WBC is covered. A signed insurance waiver must accompany the application for each new member. A guardian must witness a junior member’s signature. Failure to sign the waiver may be cause for your application for membership to be rejected.
